Want to meet neighbors and help make books accessible to all? Come join the volunteer librarian team at BBFL! Librarians help maintan BBFL's book collection and play a pivotal role in preparing books for circulation. Serving as librarian is a terrific way to give back to the community. The volunteer schedule is flexible. Sign up for whatever hours you can cover. If interested, contact us for training.
STORYTIME TEACHERS
Story Time & Craft is a popular program offered on Friday mornings (ages 2-5) and selected Sundays ( ages 2-10). Whenever possible, we also offer bilingual Story Time (Thai & English) with Mandarin Chinese & English Story Time coming soon. Like to volunteer as a Story Time teacher? BBFL volunteers teach neighbors English. We have a 2-track program for kids: PHONICS for learning to read, and EXPOSURE for improving listening comprehension and speaking.
