Story Time
Started in 2017 in response to requests from parents of toddlers, Story Time quickly became one of the library's most popular programs. Volunteers read to the children, teach songs and offer creative craft projects.
At the height of the pandemic, Story Time went online, with videos shared from here in Bangkok and from Texas. Now, our Story Time & Craft program is once again offered in person, on Friday mornings ( for kids ages 2-5) and on selected Sundays ( for kids ages 2-10).
In 2023, we started offering bilingual Story Time ( Thai & English) whenever the library happened to have the same book in those two languages. We will soon offer bilingual (Mandarin Chinese and English) and possibly trilingual Story Time ( English, Thai and Mandarin). Yes, some of our books are in all 3 languages!
