BBFL Reading Corner at Homeless Shelter
In addition to BBFL's main location, the library also operates a BBFL Reading Corner at the local homeless shelter in Pakkred, Nonthaburi. Housed in a small, open-air pavilion, the Reading Corner provides Thai language books plus a daily Thai newspaper to serve more than 400 shelter residents.
In addition, the Reading Corner stores games and Khmer language books which are made available to the Cambodian women and children housed at the shelter. The Khmer-language books were donated by Dan Friendly and his family, who hand-carried them back from Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
